Glee’s Chris Colfer on His Season 4 Guest Stars: Who’s a Total “Badass”?

ccolferrr:

Over the past four seasons, Glee has had no problem finding big-name celebrity guest stars who want to appear on the show. This year is no different. In fact, now that Rachel (Lea Michele) and Kurt (Chris Colfer) have moved to New York City, Glee seems to be booking more famous faces than ever.

Wetpaint Entertainment caught up exclusively with Chris Colfer at the THR Design Hollywood at The Century Opening Night on October 24, and the Glee star had plenty to say about this season’s current guest stars. So, which of the three was Chris surprised to learn is actually a total “badass”? Read on to find out.

Any other fun guest stars?
Whoopi Goldberg is coming back so I’m excited about that and we just had Kate Hudson. We’ve had great, great guest stars and I’ve been working with Sarah Jessica Parker and I love her!

What is it like working with actors of that caliber that you all look up to and that have been in the business for so long?
Amazing, amazing and then you work with them and they’re so normal. It’s almost disappointing they’re so normal. You expect them to be so grand you know but they’re not. They’re just normal, great people. Sarah Jessica I love because she was so sweet and kind and Kate was just a badass, she really is. I had no idea what a badass she is! She’s just a badass.

I can see that; she’s got spunk.
I kind of thought of her as a sweet, you know bubblegum princess you know, just from the romantic comedies that she’s done but no, in the middle of a rehearsal she’ll go to the piano and start wailing on it, tickling the ivories. Yeah, she’s great.

What is it like working with the cast of Glee now that you’ve all got a few seasons under your belt and you’ve seen the show through as far as you have?
It’s so funny because we’re such a family. We have such a sibling mentality towards each other. We really are like family it’s crazy. I’m sure when the show ends, we’ll still get together in some capacity because when you spend that amount of time with people you can’t help but bond.

‘Glee’s’ Lea Michele Previews Rachel and Kurt’s ‘Emotional’ Homecoming

“I can’t do this anymore; at least not now. We’re done.”

It’s been two weeks since Lea Michele’s Rachel said the unthinkable to Finn (Cory Monteith) during Glee’s emotional “Break-Up” episode, sending the fan-favorite couple on their separate paths.

“I laid in bed and just cried like a baby,” Michele recalls of watching the episode alone after having received a rare advance DVD of the episode from Glee co-creator Ryan Murphy. “Cory was like, ‘Please wait, don’t watch it so I can watch it with you.’ There was one night I was sitting by myself and I just had to watch. It was amazing and by far one of my most favorite episodes ever.”It’s been two weeks since Lea Michele’s Rachel said the unthinkable to Finn (Cory Monteith) duringGlee’s emotional “Break-Up” episode, sending the fan-favorite couple on their separate paths.

So what’s next for the NYADA freshman? Returning to McKinley High to see the Finn-directed Greas emusical, a Scissor Sisters duet with co-star and Glee roommate Chris Colfer and beginning her own audition process as she looks to take the first steps toward Broadway.

The Hollywood Reporter caught up with Michele to talk about the heart-breaking episode, celebrating four years of Glee and how Rachel and Finn’s split will impact her.

Chris Colfer Dishes On His ‘Fashionable’ Situations On Glee Season 4

"My bottom line is that I want Kurt to be happy. He was not very happy last season. So whatever that entails, if they break up, stay together, attempt a long distance relationship, I’m on board. I just want to see Kurt happy for a change."
