Okay, so many questions.

This was posted earlier today:

“Someone just spoke to Radio 1 and they said it’s not definitely cancelled it’s just not confirmed because Chris and Darren are on such a tight schedule that they can’t confirm or deny yet. There’s a good chance they will be there but they don’t want to commit to listing it in case they can’t make it.” (x)

Mark, Chris, and Ashley were spotted arriving at LAX today. From the account above, I was assuming that the interview was meant to be done LIVE. BUT, it still could be POSSIBLE to do PHONE interviews.

FYI.

The initial inquiry mentioned above was in response Chris and Darren’s names being removed from the program description on Chris Moyles’ site. It doesn’t look like it was originally intended to be a phone interview but we will just have to wait and see.

BTW you guys, Mark, Chris, and Ashley were spotted at LAX today. I’m guessing the interview is officially canceled.

The Chris Moyles interview for Thursday doesn’t look like it’s happening.

supbritt:

Full hour long recording of the BBC Radio 1 show that I recorded yesterday as it streamed. Great quality, one file. Enjoy!

Chris Colfer’s quotes from the radio show:

“I’ve gone from a complete under-appreciated nerd in high school, to a complete under-appreciated nerd on international television.”

“I think there’s three things that make magic. I think for one; there’s something that everyone can related to in the story, whether it’s a character or it’s a situation the character goes through, there’s always something relatable. Um, the second part I think–is the music. I think that music is just an international language, it just connects everyone to anything out there and inspires emotion. And there’s nothing more powerful than inspired emotion. Um, and number three, I think it–it’s about a bunch of adolescent kids, and I think adolescence is the hardest period in anyones life. It’s–your hormones are raging, you’re so insecure, you’re all this that’s crazy, crazy, um time in anyones life. So I think when you mix the three, it’s a perfect storm.”

“I was living in Clovis, California which is about four hours um, away um, a four hour drive away from Los Angeles. And um, I had a family friend of a family friend that uh, happened to be an agent and they would send me out on um, about one or two auditions a month. Um, and I started this when I was a freshman in high school and um, kept doing it and, and didn’t get anything, was never casted in absolutely not–I got close to getting something but then they’d choose the other kid or next kid. And um, and Glee just happened to be one of those. Um, I walked in and the first thing that Ryan said to me was um, ‘Why do I have a feeling you’ve been in the Sound of Music?’ And I said, ‘Well, I was Kurt in Sound of Music a long time ago, when I was 14.’ And um, I came back the next day and uh, my agent called me and said, ‘You know, they don’t want you for Artie, but they want you for this new role.’

“And I got there, the next audition and uh, I notice that the–the characters name was Kurt. And I thought, ‘oh okay, that’s strange,’ I didn’t wanna think it had something to do with me, ‘cause I didn’t want to jinx myself. But um, but yeah, I was cast, and then later they told me that it was written for me.”

“When I was in high school, um, I–we had this talent show every year. I’m–thank god we were lucky enough to have a talent show, first of all. But I would request to sing Defying Gravity every year, and they would always turn me down because I was a boy and it was a famous girl song. And–and uh, I was telling Ryan about it one day and um, and I was still upset about it because I always had this urge to sing the song. And–and then the next script we get, that–that was Kurt’s storyline.”

“I–you know I was so incredibly nervous when I was singing it, because it meant the world to me; that–that I don’t think I will ever–I could have been satisfied with it. But I think the way it was recorded and the way that–that it was written it couldn’t have been a better recording, because I think, ‘cause Kurt was supposed to be nervous, Kurt was supposed to be, you know subtle with it, and it was supposed to be passionate for Kurt. And it was all those things for Chris as well, but Chris was terrified. [Laughs].”

“My life has changed completely, I don’t think it could have changed more.”

Here’s a better Radio 1 listening link.

The special is supposed to air from 9-10PM local time. I think that’s in about 2 and a half hours. He’s the current time in London to help people figure out time differences.

I want to paste the link but it doesn't work.. weird" by cdence

Re: this.

Thanks. This new thing where you aren’t allowed to put links in people’s ask boxes is the most annoying thing ever.

I think this is the link for anyone who want to listen online.

(I think you can still send someone links by doing submit instead of ask if anyone has a better link)
